Betty L. Purciful

Betty Purciful, 88, of Anderson, Indiana, passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at Rawlins House in Pendleton, Indiana following an extended incurable illness. She was born on January 3, 1936, in Frankfort, Indiana to Linus Faulkerson and Oni "Marie" Faulkerson.

Betty married the love of her life, Kenneth "Kenny" Leon Purciful who passed in December of 1997. She retired after 30 plus years from RCA in Marion. After retirement, Betty cherished her time working at Cracker Barrel in the Gift Shop. Betty enjoyed crafts, painting, cooking, shopping, playing bingo and spending time with family. She loved taking bus trips with friends. One of her favorite places to travel being Branson, Missouri. 

Betty is survived by her son, Kevin (Kim) Purciful; Grandchildren, Dustin (Lacey) Purciful, Tyler (Karli) Purciful, Kameron Purciful, and Kelsie (Jon) Betz; great-grandchildren, Jaxson, Layla, Riley, Evie and Leon.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Kenneth; son, Dwayne "Scott" Purciful; and four sisters.

Visitation for family and friends will take place on Monday, November 18, 2024 from 11:00am-12:00pm at Bozell Funeral Homes, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 East 53rd Street, Anderson, Indiana 46013.

A funeral service celebrating Betty's life will follow visitation at 12:00pm on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
