Betty Louise Banks

Betty L. Banks, 97, Anderson, passed away on November 6, 2021 at Bethany Pointe Health Campus. She was born on May 25, 1924 in Anderson to the late Clarence and Martha (Dowden) Morgan. Betty graduated from Markleville High School. She retired from the cafeteria at Delco Remy after 40 years of service. She is survived by her children, Dennis (Terry) Banks of Anderson, Nancy Hendricks of Indianapolis; grandchildren, Donna (Thomas) Patz, Travis (Jill) Mahoney-Banks, John Hendricks, Tina (Gary) Hite, Shawn (Laura Green) Hendricks; great grandchildren, Kristin (Christian) Wilson, Emily, Garrett, Justin, Liam; sisters, Judy Roberts, Janice Morgan; brother, Jack (Betty) Morgan and several nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband of over 53 years, Bernard Banks and eight brothers and sisters. Visitation will be held on Friday from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, Indiana, 46013 with burial at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
