Betty Jean Kasdorf

Betty Jean (McDaniel) Kasdorf, 88, of Pendleton passed away December 26, 2018 at the Rawlins House in Pendleton.She was born October 16, 1930 in Anderson, Indiana and was a Pendleton resident most of her life.Betty retired from Delco Remy Division of GM in Anderson following 30 years of service.She was a 1948 graduate of Anderson High School and was a member of Madison County Ladies Shrine Club, Wapahani Home Economics Club, American Business Women’s Association and Pendleton Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.Survivors include her son, Dan (wife, Carolyn) Kasdorf of Pendleton; three granddaughters, Liesl (husband, Matthew) Ulm, Marah Kasdorf and Neeli Kasdorf all of Pendleton; and a great granddaughter, Isla Ulm of Pendleton.Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Jack W. Kasdorf; and parents, Wayne Allen and Ethel Irene (Wilson) McDaniel.Services will be held at 12 p.m., Monday, December 31, 2018 at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, 211 E. State St., Pendleton, Indiana 46064 with Tom Wiles officiating. Burial will follow in Grove Lawn Cemetery, Pendleton.A visitation will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., Monday, December 31, 2018 at Lahm Chapel, Pendleton.Memorial contributions suggested to Pendleton Emergency Ambulance, Pendleton Fire Department or Alzheimer’s Association.
