Betty Duganich

Betty Duganich, 93, Anderson, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at Rittenhouse Village in Michigan City.

She was born on November 20, 1924, in Detroit, Michigan to Lotus McDonald and Bonnie (Shrode) McDonald Schott.

Betty was graduated from Lapel High School in 1942.

She retired as CEO of the Lampco Federal Credit Union in Anderson.

Betty was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapel where she had served as Treasurer and Administrative Board Chairman; the Priscilla Circle; the Louisa Mae Alcott Society; and the former Lapel Order of Eastern Star where she had served as Worthy Matron

She is survived by a daughter, Diane (John) Hughes; two grandsons, David and Michael Hughes.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 66 years, Joe; and one brother, Glenn.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel with Rev.s Evan Lash and Dewey Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.

Visitation will be from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM Sunday at the funeral home.
