October 28, 1925 — February 4, 2012

Betty Clark, 86, Cicero, passed away Saturday, February 4, 2012, at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville following an extended illness. She was born on October 28, 1925, in Jennings County, Indiana to Joseph and Gladys (McNicholas) Grinstead. Betty retired in 1981 from the former Firestone Industrial Products in Noblesville after 26 years of employment. She had served as a volunteer at the Hamilton County Senior Citizens Center in Noblesville. She is survived by two children, Gracie (husband, Dave) Whitesell of Noblesville, and Kevin (wife, Carol) Clark of Cicero; six grandchildren, Angela Kay Swinford, Paul David Whitesell, Paula Rachelle Whitesell, Brittany Lauren (husband, Kendale) Thompson, and Joseph Clark, and Jennifer Clark; and one sister, Mildred (husband, Lee) Reynolds of North Vernon. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe Clark; two grandsons, Daniel Lee Swinford, and David Lee Swinford; seven brothers and sisters, Margaret Elsie, Joe Grinstead, Robert Grinstead, Dorothy Burns, Louise Stewart, Jim Grinstead, and Gene Grinstead. A funeral service will be held at 3:00 pm Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Fishers with Pastor Jack Walker, Jr. officiating. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm Tuesday, February 7, 2012, at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens, 9700 Allisonville Road, Fishers.
