Bette Ann Bussell

Bette Ann Bussell, 86, of Shirley, passed away on May 30, 2021 at Stonebrooke Rehabilitation Center. She was born on October 7, 1934 in New Castle to the late Helen Ritchie. Bette graduated from New Castle High School in 1953. She retired from Henry County Hospital as a bookkeeper after 47 years of service. She attended Kennard Baptist Church. She is survived by her cousin, Joe (Jennifer) Swindell of Wilkinson; special friends from High School and many friends and co-workers. Bette was preceded in death by her husband, James Bussell; in-laws, Frank and Bette (Bussell) Craig and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. The family would like to thank special home caregivers, Brandy Smith and Vicky Christian. The family would also like to thank the Cottages of Stonebrook and Henry Community Health Hospital. A graveside service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am at Glen Cove Cemetery in Knightstown. Memorial Contributions may be made to Henry County Humane Society. Arrangements are entrusted to Condo and St. Pierre Funeral Home and Crematory.
