Bertha Hohanna Harrod

Bertha Johanna (Fager) Harrod, 83, of Anderson, passed away after an extended illness on March 3, 2021 at her residence. She was born on October 6, 1937 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Fred and Almeda (Smith) Fager. Bertha retired from Harvest Market in 2004 after 23 years of service. She is survived by her sons, Tim (Eunice) Harrod of Anderson, Ron Harrod of Anderson, David Harrod of Fortville; seven grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; 3 great great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Bertha was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert Harrod; two brothers; three sisters and one granddaughter. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday at 2:00 pm at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013. Visitation will be from 1:00 to 2:00 pm on Saturday at the funeral home. Due to COVID restrictions, masks and social distancing will be required.
