Benny G. Benefiel

Benny G. Benefiel, 60, Anderson, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2010, following a seven month illness.
He was born on April 30, 1949, in Anderson, Indiana to Major Harold and Mary (Danner) Benefiel.
He graduated from Lapel High School in 1967.
Benny farmed the family farm.
He was a member of the Perkinsville Community Church; Lapel Eagles Arie 4323; and Noblesville Moose Lodge
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Pamela (Heflin) Benefiel; two children, Shane Benefiel (fiance, Sara Shipman) of Lapel, and Alicia (husband, Dennis) Everitt of Anderson; three grandchildren, Tyler Benefiel, Baylee Everitt, and Brice Everitt; three sisters, Rosalie Hawkins of Anderson, Rowena (husband, Larry) Wollenhaupt of Tega Cay, SC, and Gloria (husband, Phil) Bott of Frankton; one brother, Terry (wife, Judy) Benefiel of Frankton; his mother-in-law, Peggy (husband, Wayne) Yancey of Noblesville; several nieces, nephews, and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a infant daughter, Staci Michelle Benefiel; and a brother-in-law, Jack Hawkins.
Funeral service will be held at 10:30 am Wednesday, March 10, 2010, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Mark Aleshire officiating. Burial will follow in Neese Cemetery, Frankton.
Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm Tuesday, March 9, 2010, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.
