With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved son, Bennett Warren Barnard, on January 10, 2024. Born on September 19, 2023, Bennett’s time on earth was short but profoundly impactful.

Bennett touched all who knew him with his soulful gaze, curious nature, and memorable chunky cheeks. His strength and will to overcome challenges inspired us daily during his 101-day NICU stay. His ability to communicate without words, especially his deep connection with his mother, was a tender expression of love we will forever cherish.

Emily and Devan, along with his twin brother, Pax and older brother, Beau, feel blessed to have been part of Bennett’s brave journey. We invite you to join us for an open house-style Celebration of Life for Bennett on February 3rd, from 11:00 am to 3:00 pm at the Pendleton Fire Station, 100 South Broadway Street, Pendleton, Indiana 46064. Feel free to come and go as you please during these hours to share stories, support, and remembrance.

In lieu of flowers and as a living tribute, we encourage planting blue flower seeds, symbolizing Bennett’s enduring spirit and inspired growth; these will be provided at the celebration.

Dress comfortably, while black attire is traditional; we welcome you to wear colors that celebrate life in remembrance of our sweet boy.

Though Bennett’s time with us was brief, his legacy of love, courage, and resilience will remain in our hearts eternally. Rest peacefully, our precious little warrior. As your older brother would say, “We love you big much”.

Wilson St. Pierre, Lahm Chapel have been entrusted to the services for Bennett.
