Benjamin “Harold” Stewart

Benjamin “Harold” Stewart, 76, of Middletown, passed away August 7, 2017 at Community Hospital of Anderson. He was born December 6, 1940 in Greenfield, the son of Floyd and Helen (Evans) Stewart. He started working at ALAC when he was 19 and retired 43 years later as a maintenance supervisor from the only job he ever had. Harold is survived by his children, Sherry (Tom) Robey of Greenwood, Pam (Charlie) Vasko of Bullhead City, AZ, Lisa (Rodney) Benefiel of Alexandria and Phillip (Misty) Stewart of Middletown; 12 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; beloved dog, Cody; several nieces and nephews and special friends. He was preceded in death by three children, Benji, John and Judy. Visitation will be held 6-8pm Friday at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory. Private services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.
