Ben Stewart

Ben E. Stewart, 94, of Greenfield formerly of Wilkinson passed away Monday, June 6, 2022 at Greenfield Health Care in Greenfield.    He was born July 28, 1927 in Livingston, TN. the son of the late Roy and Mildred (Windle) Stewart.

Ben was in maintenance personnel at Warner Press in Anderson for many years. He loved to travel out west with his wife, listen to bluegrass music and attended festivals, loved hiking, and walked everyday to the mail box in town, and never knew a stranger.                                                                                        He is survived  by his children Phyllis (Mailon) Dusang of Knightstown; sons, Kevin (Sharron) Stewart of New Palestine, and Eric (Carole) Stewart of New Castle, grandchildren, Alison (Jason) Bailey, Amanda (JB) Baines, Daniel Dusang, Abigail (Sam) Burnett, Angela (David Lee) Trackwell and Andrea (Zach) Mackie, ten great grandchildren; brothers; Philip and Keith Stewart,  several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife; June Stewart, sister; Hallie Binion and brothers; Luther and Donald Stewart.

Service will be held Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Condo and St. Pierre Funeral Service in Wilkinson with visitation from 12 to 2 prior to service. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery
