Barbara A. Schaller

Barbara A. Schaller, 88, of Pendleton, Indiana, passed away July 24, 2024, at Rawlins House in Pendleton. She was born on May 29, 1936, in Daviess County to the late Lee and Agnes (Cornelius) Lawyer. In 1974, she married her loving husband Harold M. Schaller.

Barbara graduated from Pendleton Heights High School. She worked a multitude of jobs from working at Delco Remy, a guard at the jail, and even a lunch lady. Barbara had hobbies including, painting, coloring, and playing Euchre. She especially loved gardening her flowers, and just loved working in her yard, she always wanted it to keep it clean and pristine. But what Barbara loved most in this world were her grandchildren and spending as much time with them.

Barbara is survived by her daughter, Debra (Lyndon) Keys; grandchildren, Kristin Shupe, Ryan (Yana) Schmidt, and Matthew (Stephanie) Hardy; great grandchildren, Emma, Tyler, Owen, Scarlett, Max, and Nadya; several nieces and nephews

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harold M. Schaller; daughter, Julie Fraley; siblings, Louise, Bob, Dwaine, Don, Evelyn, Katty, Dick, Bud, and Sonny Lawyer.

Visitation will be from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, July 29, 2024 at Bozell Funeral Homes, Lahm Chapel, 211 East State Street, Pendleton, Indiana, 46064.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at the funeral home, followed by burial at Anderson Memorial Park.
