Barbara E. Henderson

Barbara E. Henderson, 73, Lapel, passed away Thursday, December 19, 2019, at Community Northview in Anderson following extended illness.She was born on December 6, 1946, in Shelbyville, Indiana to Ray Henderson and Goldie( Lucas) Henderson .Barbara was graduated from Southwestern High School in Shelby County.She was a Caregiver to many people. She also worked several jobs throughout the years. Barbara was a very active member of the Ford Street United Methodist Church in Lapel. She is survived by four siblings, Donna (Richard) Helterbrand, Ed Henderson, Alicia Henderson, and Foy (Sheila) Henderson; three nieces, Ginny Helterbrand, Rachel (Shane Huber) Moreland, Misty (Eric Harris) Pike. She was also survived by many nephews, great-nieces and nephews, and a great-great niece. Barbara was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Candice Quallo.A Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 23, 2019, at Hersberger-Bozell Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana with Rev. Glenn Knepp officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, Lapel.Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the funeral home on Monday.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.Online condolences: www.hersbergerfuneralhome.com
