Barbara Ann Riggs

Barbara Ann Riggs, 95, passed Friday, April 7, 2023.

She was born May 23, 1927, in Anderson. Barbara retired from the Delco Remy Division of General Motors in 1995, after 48 years in the Sales & Advertising Department. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Anderson Country Club, Ascension St. Vincent Foundation Board of Directors, Gruenewald Historic House Board of Directors, Anderson Noon Exchange Club Past President and Board of Directors, Victoria Guild Life Member and Past President of the Victoria Guild Board. Founding
member of Victoria’s Resale Place.

She was preceded in death by her parents Mr. & Mrs. Arnold E. Riggs; sister, Wilma Riggs; brother, Max Arnold Riggs. She is survived by a host of friends and cousins.

Services will be at 1pm Friday, April 14 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, with Pastor Matt Manning and Reverend Libby Manning officiating. Burial will be at East Maplewood Cemetery.

Visitation will be from Noon until the time of services at the church.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church, Ascension St. Vincent Anderson Foundation for Priority Needs, Exchange Club Family Resource Center, or to the Gruenewald Historic House.
