Barbara Ann Dudley

Barbara Ann Dudley, 87, of Anderson, passed away on November 7, 2023. She was born on August 4, 1936 in Anderson to the late Arthur Trevor and Thelma Lois (Bailey) Dudley Bennett. Barbara graduated from Anderson High School and then began working for Bill Brown Insurance Agency as an insurance agent. After her career in insurance, she also worked for Recreation Equipment Company as an Administrative Assistant, Creative Expressions as an order clerk and finally as a pricing clerk at Meijer up into her 80’s! She loved playing Bingo every Saturday night with friends. Barbara was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling to different states, and had even been a member of Kappa Kappa Sigma Sorority.

Barbara will be dearly missed by her son, Rick Aker; and cousins, Sarah King, Linda Dudley, Jeannine Bauerlein, Elaine Meredith, Janice Dudley, Judy Dudley and Col Robert Dudley.

She was preceded in death by her father, Arthur; and mother and step-father, Thelma and Clifford Eugene “Jack” Bennett.

The visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53^rd St., Anderson, IN 46013. The funeral ceremony will begin at 12:00 PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
