Austin Lee Morgan

Austin Lee Morgan, 87, Noblesville, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2019, at Riverwalk Village in Noblesville following a extended illness.He was born on May 6, 1932, in Lucas, Arkansas to Leslie Morgan and Dovie (Winters) Morgan.He retired in 1999 from the family business, Tri Con Lightweight Floors.Austin served in the United States Navy in the Korean War. He was a member of the VFW in Noblesville. He was a member of the Cicero Seventh-Day-Adventist Church and attended the Omega Christian Church. He is survived by his wife Delores Morgan of Noblesville; three sons, Doyle Morgan of Noblesville, Jeff (Shari) Morgan of Fillmore, Mike Morgan of Cicero; step-children, Ray (Cheryl) Thompson of Noblesville, David (LaDonna) Thompson of Noblesville; two brothers, M.C. Morgan of Oklahoma, and Joe Morgan of Arkansas; 14 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren; and 5 great-great-grandchildren. Austin is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Austin was preceded in death by his parents; and several brothers and sisters. He was also preceded in death by a step-son, Paul Thompson. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, September 6, 2019 at 11:30am, at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel, Indiana with Rev. Neal Brown officiating. Cremation will take place. .Visitation will be from 10:30am to 11:30am on Friday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home, 1010 North Main Street, Lapel.Military Rites will be conducted by the Noblesville, VFW. Memorial contributions may be made to the Omega Christian Church.
