Audrey M. Davis Miller

Audrey M. Davis Miller, 91, Lapel, passed away Wednesday, September 20, 2006, at Manor Care Health Services Anderson following an extended illness.
She was born on October 11, 1914, in Lapel, Indiana to Clem and Pauline (Presser) Critser.
She had owned and operated the former 32 Truck Stop; she at one time had an Upholstery Shop; and she owned Davis Electric with her first husband.
She was a member of the Ford Street United Methodist Church and the No Name Bridge Club.
She is survived by her husband, Robert Miller, Sr.; one daughter, Judith Ann Davis of Lapel; three step-children, Robert (wife, Sandy) Miller, Jr. of Lapel, Janice Owens, and Marilyn (husband, Vernon) Reifeis both of Indianapolis; five grandchildren, Rob (wife, Ann) Miller of Lapel, Norman Huffman of Indianapolis, Benjamin Phillips of Florida, Ray Huffman of Oklahoma, and Susan Phillips of Indianapolis.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Emil Davis; and four sisters, Leah Stephens, Emma Giesy, Grace Stoops, and Cleo Henry.
Services will be held at 1:00 PM Friday at Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel with Rev. Mark Helm officiating. Burial will be at the Brookside Cemetery in Lapel.
Friends may call from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM Thursday at the Scott E. Hersberger Funeral Home in Lapel.
