Arnola J. Noland, 94, of Anderson, passed away July 18, 2024, at The Waters of Tipton. She was born on April 29th, 1930, in Anderson to Arnold Cox and Ruth (Deakyne) Cox. Arnola graduated from Anderson High School in 1948. Arnola married Harold Noland on August 22, 1948 and spent 67 amazing years together until his death on October 20, 2015. She retired from Anderson Community Schools in 1989 after 22 years of service as a secretary at Forest Hill Elementary. Arnola had formerly worked at Ward Stillson.
Arnola was a long time member of First United Methodist Church and was involved in many social activities; she loved playing bridge and reading; was an avid coin collector; and most importantly loved her family.
Arnola is survived by a son, Greg Noland; son-in-law, Michael Harper; grandchildren, Daniel (Sara) Noland, April (Ronald) Groves, Christine (Chris) Nealis, Robin (Walter) Renderos, Kelli (Luke) Lightfoot, Bethany (Charles) Woelfert, Robert (Emma) Harper, Alyssa (Andy) Baker, & Ethan (Merrill) Harper; and 21 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold Noland; daughter, Mary Jane Harper; brother, Lyle Cox; & daughter-in-law, Ann Noland.
A funeral service will be held at 4:00pm Sunday, July 28, 2024 at Bozell Funeral Homes, Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 E. 53rd Street Anderson with Pastor David Sluka. A visitation will be 2:00-4:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home. A private family burial will be held at Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery on Monday.
