Anna B. Russell

Anna B. Russell, 88, longtime resident of the Lapel, Indiana and Sarasota, Florida areas passed away Monday, February 27, 2006, at Westminster Village North Retirement Center in Indianapolis following an extended illness.
She was born on August 1, 1917, in Mount Summit, Indiana to Bill and Roberta (Peed) Beck. Ann retired from Delco Remy division of General Motors in the early 1970s. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Lapel, Indiana. Ann was much beloved by her many friends and family members. She is survived by two sons, Vic (wife, Mary Ellen) Russell of Waco, TX, and Jim (wife, Carolyn) Russell of Greenfield, IN; one brother, Gordon Beck of Batesville, IN; ten grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 54 years, H. E. (Deacon) Russell; a daughter, Karen Russell Goldy; a brother, Bill (Bud) Beck; and her parents. Private family graveside rites and burial will be held at Brookside Cemetery in Lapel, Indiana at a later date. There will be no visiting hours.
