Amber Lynn Short

Amber Lynn Short, 40, of Anderson, passed away on August 8, 2023. Amber was born on February 27, 1983 in Anderson to Glenn and Patricia (Campbell) Young. She worked at McClure’s Gas Station as a cashier. Amber loved drawing and writing. Most importantly, she loved being a mom and she was incredible at it.

Amber will be dearly missed by her parents; daughters, Kay-leigh Short and Sarah Short; grandchildren, Remington and 1 grandson on the way; sisters, Michelle Prunell, Melissa Bliss, Sharla Akin, Jessica Niccum, and Heather Young; brother-in-law, Andy Adair,and numerous nieces and nephews.

The visitation will be from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, August 12, 2023 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory, 515 E. 53^rd St., Anderson 46013. The funeral home is honored to serve the Short family.
