Allen Lawrence Raver, 56, of Anderson passed away unexpectedly on February 25, 2025. Allen was born on November 10, 1968 in Anderson to the late Louis and Marian (Geis) Raver. He married his loving wife, Theresa (Coker) Cataldo-Raver, and the two were married for almost four years before his passing. Allen received his Bachelor of Arts from Purdue where he attended on a swimming scholarship. Allen was an incredible swimmer and broke many records that are still not broken to this day. He found his spiritual home at St. Ambrose Catholic Church and was a faithful member for many years. He was a gentle man who had the biggest heart of gold and would do anything for those he loved. He enjoyed taking walks with his wife around Shadyside Park Most importantly, he loved his family.
Allen will be dearly missed by his wife, Theresa; siblings, Diana Huff, Sandra (Joe) Bishop, Steve (Connie) Raver, Susan Raver, and Bernard (Tomasa) Raver; brother-in-law, Todd Fruehling; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Janet Fruehling; and brother-in-law, Ken Huff.
The visitation will be Thursday, March 6, 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bozell Funeral Homes- Brown-Butz-Diedring Chapel, 515 E. 53rd St., Anderson, IN 46013. A Rosary service will take place at 6:00 PM. The Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, March 7, 2025 at 11:00 AM at St. Ambrose Church, 2801 Lincoln Street, Anderson, IN 46016. The burial will take place at 3:30 PM at St. Catherine of Sienna Church Cemetery, 9995 East Base Road, Greensburg, IN 47240. Memorial contributions may be gifted to Holy Cross School, 2801 Lincoln Street Anderson, Indiana 46016. Allen's services have been entrusted to Bozell Funeral Homes.
