Allan Dillery, 65, of Pendleton, peacefully went on a fishing trip to the heavenly lake, on December 29, 2022. He was born in Portsmouth, Virginia on January 29, 1957, to Allan and Bettie (Boyles) Dillery. Proudly, he enlisted in the USMC in 1975. Following his honorable service, he became a jack of all trades and filled his time with the support for his beloved Cubs, Colts, IU Basketball, and his love of
reading and the outdoors. In 2012, he met and married his adventure partner, Suzan. They enjoyed spending their time traveling, fishing the waters of Michigan, and experiencing life and family together.
Allan is survived by his wife Suzan (Williams) Dillery; Former wife, Barbara Dillery, whom he married in 1982; son, Travis (Ally) Dillery; daughters, Gina (Justin) Buchanan and Patty Gallegos; brother, Eugene Dillery; sisters, Aprel Martin, and Kelly Dillery. Grandchildren, Hannah Dillery, TJ Dillery, Mackenzie Buchanan, Jocelyn Buchanan, Elijah Gallegos, Isaac Gallegos.
He was preceded by his parents; brothers, Terry Dillery and Louie Dillery.
Visitation will be Saturday January 7, 2023, from 1p.m. to 3p.m. with Pastor John Groves officiating the 3p.m. service at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service and Crematory, Lahm Chapel, Pendleton.
Memorial contributions may be made to the South Madison Fire Territory or the Wounded Warrior Project.
