AJ enjoyed attending church at Main Street Church of God and always treasured his time with Pastor Don Billie. He worked with Direct TV for years before joining the office staff at Rush Temporaries prior to his disabilities. As his disability became worse, he very much missed working and always wanted to help. AJ was loud, goofy and funny. Loved to cook but couldn't cook to save his life, lol. He liked to play pranks on people. He loved board games and anything to make people laugh. He would give you a wet willy or lick your face. Huge heart and very protective. He also enjoyed going to the park and loved the Indy 500. Big Danica fan! Loved the Indianapolis Colts. He could also be a soft spoken and forgiving individual who never held a grudge or said anything bad about anybody. In his last years he had the same sentence on his lips: "My family is the most important thing to me."
