Albert Raymond Skinner, 54, passed away May 2, 2016, after an extended illness.
He was born May 4, 1961, to Albert G. & Sue (VanLandingham) Skinner, and was a lifelong resident of Anderson.
Ray worked for over thirty years for Snelling, in personnel as a recruiter. He loved fishing, especially fly fishing, also collecting, buying, and selling coins. He loved spending time with his family and watching his grandchildren play sports. He was known as “The Viking Man” due to his love of football and purple and gold attire. He was proud to bestow the plaque of 2500 to the deserved candidate.
He is survived by his parents; companion, Robin Skinner; children, Albert Jerald Skinner, Misty Sue (husband, Walter) Kalisz, Albert Thomas (wife, Kameile) Skinner, and Elizabeth SuVon (husband, Jon) Skinner; adopted children, Tyler Reels, Cameron Golish, & Shayna Coppock; grandchildren, Alexis, Paris, Madyson, Tanden, Zayven, Albert, Kiyah, Lucille, Jet, & Ryan; brothers, Albert Wayne Skinner & Albert Anthony Skinner; sisters, Gina Skinner and SuLynn Ruggles; several friends, associates, and other family members.
A private Memorial Service will be held later. Arrangements are entrusted to Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Service & Crematory.
